Meet Stephanie.
Stephanie Ziglar is deeply rooted in Orange County, born and raised in the district she now seeks to serve. A proud third generation Orlando resident raising the fourth, she understands firsthand the neighborhoods, families, challenges, and opportunities that define District 3.
At home, Stephanie is guided by her most cherished roles as a wife to a tradesman and small business owner, a mother of two, and caretaker to a lively household of pets. Her family chose their home in part to live near her 101 year old grandfather, whose presence anchors her to the history, resilience, and values of the community she loves. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys exploring Central Florida’s natural beauty by birding, boating, visiting local parks, and supporting the region’s vibrant restaurants.
When elected Commissioner, Stephanie will lead with practical experience, consistency, and a focus on results.
Her work as Executive Director of the Curry Ford West Main Street District has given her firsthand experience working with residents and small businesses navigating real challenges.
Stephanie’s approach is grounded in listening, follow through, and understanding how county decisions impact everyday life in our neighborhoods.
Stephanie brings more than fifteen years of nonprofit leadership and civic engagement experience to her candidacy. She began her public service as Vice President of the PTA at Lake George Elementary and expanded her involvement through youth sports coaching, scouting leadership, and volunteering as a poll worker. She later served as President of the William R. Boone High School Foundation and remains an active board member, reflecting her lifelong commitment to education and community development.
Since 2023, Stephanie has served as Executive Director of the Curry Ford West Main Street District, where she works daily with residents and small business owners to strengthen neighborhoods, revitalize local corridors, and support economic opportunity. This experience has deepened her belief that small businesses are the heartbeat of strong communities, shaping not only the local economy but also the identity, safety, and connectedness of the places we call home.
